Greg D’Avignon

Greg D’Avignon is a Partner at Canadian Strategy Group, Western Canada’s public affairs firm. He is part of a growing team with extensive private and public sector experience, who provide a range of public affairs services serving private sector, University, Indigenous Nations, and Not for Profit clients from offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, Regina and Ottawa.
A fourth generation British Columbian, for 35 years Mr. D’Avignon has held senior private and public sectors leadership positions including serving the Prime Minister of Canada. He is a frequent contributor, facilitator and commentator on business and public policy issues that influence the current and future economy, health and prosperity of Canada and British Columbia.
Greg is the past-President and CEO of Business Council of B.C., and the immediate past chair of the YMCA B.C. He is a board member on the B.C. Achievement Foundation and the UBC Dean of Applied Science’s Advisory Committee. He has served as Chair of the B.C. Cancer Foundation, Chair of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. the Premier’s Indigenous Business Investment Council and as a Board Member of the B.C. Academic Health Science Network.
Greg is a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and has been named one of Vancouver’s Power 50 influencers.
