Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN), in partnership with the Pooni Group Foundation, is excited to announce Brick‑by‑Brick: Building Meaningful Inclusion, a creative and charitable LEGO® design competition aimed at raising funds for autism‑focused programs across British Columbia.
The challenge invites teams from across the province to reconstruct iconic local landmarks using LEGO®. Participants are asked to approach the contest like a professional design brief—selecting a well‑known landmark, conducting research, crafting sketches, gathering materials, and building a meticulously crafted model. Entries will be evaluated on creativity, accuracy, building technique, and presentation. Finalists and winners will be celebrated with a public showcase during the 2025 holiday season.
“At its core, Brick‑by‑Brick is more than just a competition,” says Loring Phinney, CEO of PAFN. “It’s about building understanding, visibility and belonging to help create a more inclusive community.”
PAFN and Pooni Group Foundation were also excited to announce that the rennie foundation has signed on as the first Presenting Sponsor of Brick-by-Brick, bringing their community spirit and network to support this initiative.
