The Juice Truck Partners with PAFN to Bring Cold-Pressed Juice to Paper Planes Café, With Community at the Heart of Every Sip

Cold-pressed juice is now on the menu at Paper Planes Café, thanks to a partnership rooted in inclusion.

The Juice Truck, a beloved Vancouver-based company, has partnered with Pacific Autism Family Network’s (PAFN) Paper Planes Café.

“The work PAFN does to support individuals and families with autism is incredibly impactful,” said The Juice Truck co-founder Ryan Slater. “We were inspired by the opportunity to help amplify that message and contribute in a small but supportive way.”

Paper Planes Café, located in Domestic Arrivals on level two at YVR, equips its team members with the skills, confidence, and experience needed to thrive in the workforce.

That mission resonated with the team behind The Juice Truck, whose roots are deeply planted in community.

“Community involvement is essential to who we are,” said The Juice Truck co-founder Zach Berman. “If we can even play a small role in helping more families feel seen and supported, then this partnership will have been a success.”

The Juice Truck began over a decade ago as a food truck parked on the corner of Water and Abbott Street in Vancouver. Since then, it’s evolved into a movement aimed at supporting a plant-based lifestyle and holistic well-being.

“We are so excited to welcome Juice Truck to Paper Planes Cafe at YVR,” said Loring Phinney, Chief Executive Officer at Pacific Autism Family Network. “We truly feel the support of the local business community as we enhance the quality of our offerings at Paper Planes and improve the experience for our neurodivergent trainees who seek career opportunities and meaningful inclusion.”

As travelers pass through YVR and Paper Planes Café, the hope is that they’re not just picking up a juice—they’re taking part in something bigger.
